The Boppy Company has recalled its Head and Neck Support Accessory product after recognizing it may pose a suffocation hazard.
INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — The Boppy Company has recalled its Head and Neck Support Accessory product after recognizing it may pose a suffocation hazard.
The product is designed to be used with infants swings, bouncers and strollers to help support a baby's head and neck. They are sold at Target, Buy Buy Baby and other stores nationwide and online from AMazon from March 2019 to May 2019.
The company said the head area may be overstuffed, causing a baby's head to tilt too far forward stop breathing.
The recall applies to the product sold in two styles: Ebony Floral and Heathered Gray.
Anyone with the product should immediately stop using it and contact The Boppy Company at 888-772-6779 for a full refund.
