Now, a major twist to the love triangle between Pique, Shakira, and the center-back’s new partner Clara Chia. It is however said that Chia’s affair with Guardiola was to get even with Pique who went behind her back with a young lawyer.

Interestingly, Gerard Pique, in a recent interview talked about people’s infatuation with approval and the need for a braver and more open-minded community. He said, “People of 15, 18, 30 years old looking for the approval of others to do what they want. But what kind of world do we live in? With IG filters, ‘I have to look better’. Let people do whatever they want. People just don’t get it.”
Pique also addressed the media’s attention on his personal life. He defended his position by saying that everyone had the right to live life by their rules. He said, “We are born to do whatever we want. If they don’t agree, I don’t care. In case you are famous, they try to find flaws in you. If you are successful, it’s because you have a lot of money. If you’re not successful, you’re a failure. It’s always the same. Live your life.”

Gerard Pique has broken his silence regarding his ex-girlfriend Shakira’s diss track about him. He reportedly commented on the mental health implications of such behavior.
Gerard Pique and his former partner, Shakira, have been constantly making the headlines. This was due to their very public breakup after an 11-year-long relationship. Early in January, Shakira released a diss track, BZRP Music Session #53. This was said to be directed at Pique. Pique has finally broken his silence on the now viral track. He shared his reflections regarding the mental health implications that contemporary internet culture enables and perpetuates.
In a Twitch appearance, while speaking to Gerard Romero, Pique shared his honest opinions on the ongoing saga between him and Shakira. Though Gerard didn’t directly refer to either Shakira or the song by name. It was evident that he was speaking about his own situation. Pique reflects on how it has become “fashionable” to diss people. He reportedly said, “It has become an activity that somehow always gathers anonymous supporters“. However, Pique was quick to point out how this mindless support has no accountability and rarely ever faces consequences.
