Stealing an idea from my fellow wedding obsessive Kim, we also had a Barbie doll cake, made using a bundt cake on top of a regular circle cake to get the extra height; then we just plopped wedding Barbie in the middle! (Kim bakes hers in a stainless steal bowl, by the way). My mom frosted the cake with edible shimmer and we surrounded it with big, pastel-color marshmallows.
Finally, as a gift to all the ladies, we gave out multicolor pink pashminas with name tags as favors. Since it was a chilly day, the shawls were much appreciated.
